ART Friends Expands Theatre Facility Main Lobby

Al Ringling Lobby RestorationThe Al. Ringling Theatre Friends has taken the first step in expanding the Theatre’s operations and programming by connecting the historic Theatre to Stage II, the adjacent property owned by ART Friends.

The lobby is almost done! The original tile floor has just been stripped and sealed, bringing a new luster to the historic lobby. The glazing and painting is in its final stretch, and will be done in just a few weeks. We are planning a public unveiling of the new lobby in conjunction with the Lori Larson Concert on July 17th. All are welcome to enjoy the concert, a fundraiser for the restoration, and see the gleaming lobby. We will celebrate the contributions of local artist Guntis Apse, who has worked tirelessly on the project for the last two years, and Ben Marks who has joined him in the restoration effort.
