Group Tours at Group Tours at Tours of the Al. Ringling Theatre offer a unique mix of entertainment, education, and fun! Tours begin with the lobby and auditorium, where richly detailed sculpture and painting pay homage to the theatre's "movie palace" heritage. A demonstration of the Theatre's 1928 Barton organ is also a regular and very popular part of each tour. Along the way, your tour guide is always at hand to breath life into the Theatre's stories and answer your questions. A discussion about ART Friends' plan to restore the historic Al. Ringling Theatre and expand Theatre operations and programming into adjacent property will also be included in each tour.
Regular tours are offered in the summer and group tours are available throughout the year by reservation. Please visit the Upcoming Special Events Calendar and Tickets section to find out about the ART Friends' current tour, live event and movie schedule. Guided tours last approximately 45 minutes, including a demonstration of the 1928 Barton theatre organ. The minimm charge for tours is $15 or $4 per person, whichever is greater.
